The Numbers, March 26-April 1

Here are the numbers from last week.  I'm up even more now of course but what else is new.  Damage control is the norm these days.  Skinny Bitch made a comment on my last batch of numbers that I eat less then normal and my numbers are consistently good so what's the problem?  A screwed up metabolism?  I think my metabolism may be a bit on the slow side due to my low calorie intake so that could be a factor but it's been a hell of a lot worse.  My theory is that if my body could talk it would tell me that it wants to be closer to 125 or 130 even.  To maintain the weight that I do is also to fight my body's natural set point weight.  Now technically, I don't know what that is because I've been pushing my body to be less for so long but I'm sure it's a heck of a lot higher then 112-114.  If I want to maintain this weight I can't eat like a normal person.  That's that.

  1. Always keep in mind muscle weighs more than fat, so you may be building some muscle which will weigh more, but you will look much leaner. Stay Strong!

  3. Sorry about the gain lady but true about the muscle thing and you work out ALL the time!!! I hate the word metabolism it is a bad word to me lol...after you have been playing the game for as long as we have we can not have a normal one at all. I hate how even looking at food will make me gain weight any more. keep strong and talk to ya later.

  4. hi miranda, thx for welcoming me back...it's appreciated!

i know it's a rough time for you right now but you will always be my number one motivator. i know many others feel the same way, we know that you will get past it soon.

i don't know your eating habits but maybe you could try to challenge your metabolism just by eating small more frequent meals. keep your calorie budget and exercise the same but just spread out your meals throughout the day. i'm having the same trouble so i'm giving this a try. other than dinner it feels like i'm snacking rather than having a meal. i'll let you know how it's going.

here is a good site to explain:

don't get too down, stay strong.

  5. You are doing great! I am sure that your body does want to be higher. Why can't they (our bodies) just cooperate with us!?
