Where did the week go? Monday I met my mom at the hospital around 3 pm and I didn't leave until about 8:30 pm. My dad is doing OK. The surgery took longer then expected so we were getting a bit antsy but he came out OK. My cousin was there so I felt OK about leaving my mom. I didn't get to see my dad but I had to get home and get to bed because I was tired as heck and Tuesday was going to be an exhausting work all day and school all night marathon. I went to see him the next day. I hate hospitals. The kidney is very slow right now. I hope it starts working better soon. My dad really needs this to work out.
I ended up not going to the gym on Monday and had class Tuesday. Wednesday I was just plain old tired and wanted to come home. I was actually kind of OK with just saying to hell with it; the gym is not happening this week. I went this morning though around 5:30 am. Hubby was planning to go so I tagged along and got it out of the way. Just 30 minutes on the Elliptical for 230 but it's something. My mom might spend the night at our house so it might have been the only time to do it. Now, I get to come right home after work today again which seems to not be happening as much lately. My DVR is filling up with stuff that I don't have time to watch. Thank goodness I don't really have too many shows. I spent about 2 hours doing two online tests for school last night. I got an 88% on both. I just want to sit on the couch and watch TV and hopefully I should get a chance to do that this weekend. I need it. I'll have to mix in some homework of course but I really just want to be at home.
I'm back to 113 lbs. I'm still not sure how this is going to go with hubby wanting me to gain but this is how it is right now. I've been having regular BM's but chances are that's due to the super cleanse. I limited it to 4 over a 3 day period (Sunday to Tuesday). Monday night at the hospital my mom insisted I eat something so I got a Cobb salad. Tuesday I finally got around to eating the breakfast sandwich hubby tried to push on me Sunday. He's actually pretty good about not expecting me to eat stuff I normally wouldn't. The sandwich was reduced fat. It's healthy and my favorite thing to get from Starbucks but I just don't like having surprise foods placed in front of me especially when I am feeling anxious about my weight. I insisted I could not eat it and I saved it for a time when it was comfortable for me to do so. Tuesday night dinner was a wash because I had class and didn't get home until around 10:30pm. Last night I had a PBJ and pretzels for dinner and a piece of string cheese for snack. I'm thinking I'll probably end up having the same tonight. Hubby and I just aren't cooking as of late. He had a sandwich last night and has been eating Ramen.
I was so PISSED because he ate the last fat free Ramen on earth. They stopped making them years ago and I had two left because I'm a hoarder. He insisted that he should be able to have one so I let him. I specifically told him the other one was MINE even if I waited until next year to eat it he was not to touch it. So, what do I see when I walk in the door on Tuesday night after a long hard day? The wrapper sitting right there on the counter. He apologized and said he didn't realize it. He just went for something to eat. I had to accept it because I know I he didn't mean to hurt me and what are my options? No point in staying mad. But it just annoys me that he can be so careless sometimes. It's the same around the house. He's just careless. He doesn't bother to take the time to pick up stuff or wash the dishes and often doesn't seem to care how anxious it makes me. Anyhow. He knew I was pissed and there was nothing else that could be done about it so.
I bought and returned boots all last week. When I'm on a shopping mission I won't stop until I get what I want. I finally found some black Steve Madden's for $99 at Macy's and I had a $20 off coupon. Score!! The brown ones I got at Aldo were $130 so it was nice to find something cheaper although...the quality on the Madden's just aren't the same. They are leather though. I did end up getting a partial rent check. That $462 bucks is going straight into my savings. The morning work out has only made me more tired. I felt like I was about to fall asleep on the way to work. Not good. I still have a boring two hour meeting to get through. Work has been super busy so I haven't had time to mess around lately. I pushed myself to get a lot done because the meeting will generate more work and I am bound to be tired by the time we get back so I don't know how productive I'll be. Just gotta make it through the day.
I really appreciate every one's comments on my post about the hubby says you need to gain weight issue. I feel so selfish for having this be such a big deal. It is selfish. I'm still trying to figure out how to deal with this situation. I don't know how much hubby will push it but since this is the second time he brought it up I know he's serious about it.
Glad to hear your dad is okay! I hope things continue to go well for him...
ReplyDeleteOnce my sister drank the last diet mt dew... (which we have to buy from the states... Don't have it up in Canada.)....*shudder* I sympathize with your fat free ramen trauma.
I'm also glad to hear your dad's surgery went well and that he's on the mend. I hope everything goes well with the new kidney.
ReplyDeleteI hate it when the BF does something that makes me mad when I know being mad is not at all productive. He can't change what happened, and is sorry, but it doesn't help my feelings. It's frustrating.
Good luck working the weight thing out with your hubby. Maybe you just need to sit down and have conversation about exactly what he wants to see happen, why, and what kind of compromise you can come to. I can tell you love each other and I'm sure you'll work it out somehow.
glad to hear your dad is ok sweetheart xxx
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear your papa is okay. :) ... I don't know about you, but I hate when people force food on me! My anxiety goes through the roof! :/
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you dad is OK.
