116.0 [Day 30] 600 Cal Burn & Fiber 1 Rocks!!

Yesterday~~~
Intake:  835
Exercise:  633
Net: 202

Yesterday was a sweat day at the gym.  600 cals on the elliptical in an hour.  I did the fat burn setting for 30 minutes then manual for 30.  I felt so good afterwards.  I skipped the stretching machine and was able to go right into my streches and splits and then I did crunches.  I didn't get home until around 7pm but that's the way it goes.  I'm accepting that.  Super hard at first, but doing so was really half the battle for me.  I didn't get a machine with a TV so I had to listen to my stale old i pod music.  I like my songs but for working out....not so much.  I downloaded a work out CD + a few extra in iTunes to help get me through tonight's work out.  A lot of my favorite songs come in a techno mix.  I want to get some more rigorous yoga & pilates exercise videos to do at home.  The ones I have make me feel like I'm not accomplishing anything.  Actually, there is one that is a tad strenuous but I could fall asleep doing all the others. I also want some hard core stretching DVD's too.  I'm broke so I don't know when I'll get around to either.

Getting home that late means that dinner is whatever.  It's too late to care too much about what I eat nor do I want to overdo it.  It also means that I don't feel as bad about hubby not really having anything for dinner.  It's not like I had time to get home and cook right?  He is the better cook, he gets home at 4pm and he actually likes cooking but for some reason I still feel badly if I haven't fed him.  He's been eating the Chili for lunch so that STILL leaves dinner.  Jeez...cooking and having lunch and dinner provisions is a pain.  The food just doesn't go very far.  At least I doubled the Chili recipe so it will last longer.  I let hubby eat most all left overs. I would rather him have the food to eat 'cause I could care less.

I went #2 last night.  AGAIN.  Woot, woot.  I feel like I am "regular" for the first time in years.  YEARS!  I was rewarded on the scale this morning with 116 [115.4! on the extra scale].  1.5 lbs down!  I say that I want the numbers to go down and that it's been happening too slowly but when it happens too fast I get scared because I fear that it's a fluke and will all go away.  I am on my period this week and for some reason I usually drop a little (although not for a while because my body sucked and would not do anything I wanted).  I'm hoping it's  not just that.  And even if I do go up a little I will still be OK as long as it's under 117.5 so at least there would be progress from where I'd been maintaining for a while.  In reality this hasn't been fast at all!  This is Day 30 from when I renewed my efforts to lose some weight after reaching the dreaded 120 mark last month.  So, not fast at all.

Last week at work I got this project and got all freaked out because I didn't think I was going to be able to do it.  I always do that.  I worry that I will fail or that I won't understand and then everyone will think I'm an idiot.  Well, I e mailed it to my boss and she said I was right on track.  I need to finish it today because I have some other stuff I need to get working on ASAP or else I will be crunched for time.  There are still a lot of things going on around me that are over my head being that this position and department is new to me but I try not to freak over it.  The last two times I started a new position I was a WRECK.  It's taken 2 job changes for me to feel more confidence that I will be OK and I will figure it out.  I guess that what happens when you stay at your first job out of college for 7 years!!

Seeking Something Else-No, we don't have insurance.  We bought the phones at Apple and have a plan in case it doesn't work properly but nothing for if it gets lost or stolen.  I will DIE if I lose my phone 'cause I won't be paying $500 for another.  That's all there is too it.  I think that is part of why I didn't want to have such a nice one for so long.  The risk in losing it is too much.  Verizon should be coming out with their I phone pretty soon.  I saw it on the news yesterday.

  6. I saw that about Verizon too. I'm in a contract with my carrier right now. I would switch to Verizon if I could do a family plan with my BF, but that would mean he'd have to commit. Who knows, he might be ready in two years when my contract is up ;)

  7. yeah 116! That's incredible, I hope to be there someday! Good job on that workout! 600 on the elliptical is really good. I LOVE techno! Pretty much all of my workout music is techno, the fast pace and the strong beat makes me go faster and longer for basically anything I'm doing. stay strong and keep up the awesomeness, <3RaeLynn
