Breakfast: Light English Muffin + Coffee = 182 cals
Lunch: Yogurt + Fiber 1=160 cals
Afternoon Snack: Cucumbers + FF Ranch=56 cals
Another good day yesterday input and output wise. I hustled to the gym right after work and burned 560 cals. I got a machine with a TV so I watched You're Cut Off and Basketball Wives. Two totally trashy yet entertaining reality shows that I absolutely won't actually watch at home but they pass the time at the gym. I didn't like my exercise music. Not sure why, but it didn't really get me going like I hoped it would. There is a big difference between that 20 second preview clip and the actual song you get. There are hardly any words on some of them. Oh well.
Dinner: Refried Beans + Tortilla Chips=318
I debated in my mind over and over what I wanted to eat for dinner. I didn't want to undo my hard work of the day. Beans are always yummy to me and they are full of Fiber and protein and I love tortilla chips so I went with that being careful to count out 1 serving of tortilla chips. I was content but not full after eating. Hubby brought that darn licorice home. It's the best ever! I actually saw the package and ate one right away as I walked in the door from the gym. I made a point to limit myself to just one serving though. Moderation is key right?
Snack: 3 Licorice Whips=140 cals |
This morning I was 116 lbs on the main scale [115 on the extra]. For some reason I decided to do the main scale one more time before I got dressed and it read 115.5 lbs. I could be pushing it by documenting that number but I did see it so I'll go with it. I don't plan to go to the gym again as I got my 2 days in so I need to be very careful with diet. I'm afraid of what will happen if I don't go to the gym since I've made so much progress these last two days, but I can't today and I don't want my body to rely on excessive gym visits because I am just not that hard core. I want a break so I don't get burned out. If I feel anxious or screw up with my eating maybe I will. The option is always there. I haven't been drinking water like I should. I am just so afraid of it messing up my numbers even though I know I shouldn't be. Feeling too full makes me anxious. Hubby will be home late so I am thinking I will just have a little snack dinner tonight.
This is a critical point for me. I haven't been in the 115's since October-two days before my honeymoon (with 0 exercising). After that all hell broke loose. I am very close to my goal. Before I didn't really have one so about this time I would just be happy with this and very often find myself getting complacent and slipping up with food and up on the scale. By this time I'm usually so hungry and worn out that I start to lose my willpower anyways but I actually feel OK. Granted, 800's is considered a "starvation diet" but I technically haven't been starving myself. I've been getting nutrients. Hopefully my metabolism isn't getting screwed right now. Each week I've had 1-2 1000+ days. If it goes up a lb or so I can live with that. I won't use it as an excuse to quit and I'll keep trying. But if it goes up too much and I start feeling out of control I'm going to be upset. I do not want to screw this up.

your doing great, hun! I get kind of paranoid about water too. I know its ridiculous, but thay number on the scale is just too important. I think 800 calories is a great intake. I can survive months on 700 to 800 cals a day! good luck meeting your goal!
ReplyDeleteyou're doing really well, keep it up. even though i know those beans and tortilla chips would have been yummy as, the pic makes it look like poop lol. about the water, fluid pushes fluid, which will prevent fluid retention and dehydration.

You're doing so, so well! I think your attitude is great, toward both food and exercise. You're using moderation, which is key to maintaining the weight you want. You will be fine!
ReplyDeleteamazing intake, and all of the food looks delicious and nutritious, which are key to success. Hopefully the 115.5 isn't a fluke, but based on all of your hard work, it probably isn't! I envy your diet! need to get me some of that fiberone... love ya, <3RaeLynn
