Intake: 858 cals
Breakfast: 2/3 c egg beater omelet w/Ham & Cheese=158
I can't believe how close I am to my goal. I am so scared of blowing it or my metabolism screwing up. For a time there it felt like my body was totally fighting me and it was awful! I hate feeling so out of control and FAT! I did well on my intake yesterday. After breakfast I was hardly even hungry which was great even though I did find myself fishing for a snack when there was no need to just to be putting something into my mouth. I gave into the candy but only one serving and I am glad to have them GONE!
Snacks: Mike & Ike's=140 cals, Fiber 1=60 cals, Light Ice Cream=100 cals
Dinner: Stuffed Green Pepper=401 cals
Hubby made this delicious meal for dinner. It was so good. I have really had to broaden my food choices to try to be healthier. I am still picky but a year ago I would have refused to eat a green peppers. After dinner I ate my light ice cream for dessert. I did a bunch of crunches while watching TV before bed. I feel good about sticking to the cal budget and about getting in some nutrition. Restricting for me used to be about eating as little real food as possible which ultimately is so unhealthy. Now, it's about eating while sticking to my calorie budget. There are still going to be days where I decide to use up my calories by eating junk to satisfy cravings but I've gotten way better about limiting portions so I can eat real food. I'm feeling way more energetic and normal then I ever have at 115 before and I know it has to be because I am focusing more on getting nutrition AND restricting this time and not just starving.
I'm still not sleeping well which sucks. As usual when this type of insomnia hits I do fine on the weekends but can't sleep on work nights. I'll be going to the gym tonight regardless.

Questions
Anonymous: Do you ever get shaky when you're hungry?
Yes, actually I do sometimes but not terribly so. Like, if I hold my hand out it will tremble. Mostly it happens at the gym after I get off the elliptical. My legs feel like jello and I know it's part work out fatigue and part not having enough food in my system. I think my body is getting enough nutrition lately to avoid that whole shaky and light headed thing. I actually used to strive for feeling like I was going to pass out because it felt like results but not anymore. Lately, the worst it gets is headache and major growling stomach and hunger pangs.
Harlow B: I wonder if your recent workouts are giving your metabolism a kick start?
That very well could be the case. I have lost weight with 0 gym work outs before but this time around it didn't seem to be working and I was so anxious that I needed to DO something else to try to lose. I can't seem to necessarily find a formula unfortunately. Sometimes no matter what my body refuses to lose. Working out is good for my heart not just weight loss so I am glad that I managed to force myself to go.
Warlockmistress: What kind is it/where did you get it?
I know, that rice bowl in my last post was delicious and it looks amazing in that pic! It is teriyaki chicken and white rice with veggies. We got it from some random non chain Chinese food restaurant near our house. Usually, they are all kinda the same but it was actually one of the best ones I ever had!
