I got some bad news about my tenant. Looks like I'm going to have to evict her. I am so pissed off about this. The mortgage is $758 including the HOA. I've been managing to pay the $180 HOA fine out of my budget but count on the rent check to cover the $578. Not like I've ever gotten a full rent check out of her what with her stupid maintenance requests and deciding she won't pay full rent and all but still. I've gotten something and now I will get nothing. Thank god I got that promotion. With stupid taxes it only comes to $366.35 extra a month which doesn't cover that mortgage but it's better then nothing. I have to cut my misc money budget. I ordered hubby's gift online. It cost me about $230 for his bike trainer and some biking accessories. I only have to spend $50 for the family gift and I guess I'll be waiting on getting my new phone and anything else for the house. I'm basically at my new budget cap right now and am basically broke until after the New Year and my next pay check. Now I have to get her out, get the place cleaned, re carpeted, paint and re advertise for a new tenant. ASAP. All my money will have to go towards that.
Last night we went to an NFL football game. I got off work at 3:30pm to go and we had a really fun time. Our home team won. It was so COLD! I got the hot choco to warm me up and it worked. Their concessions sucks-I waited in line for a coffee and then get told the coffee machine is broken. We got home and I made it to bed by 10:30pm.
I'm down .5 and I think it's ONLY because I did #2 this morning. An unexpected loose one. TMI but oh well! My body was probably like, "Damn...guess we have to give her that 1/2 pound." I'm sure it REALLY didn't want to get off that plateau but it did. I'm not sure if it will stick though. We have our holiday party luncheon today and I'm pretty confident I'll do well and not overdo it. As it is I'll be lucky if I can maintain 118.5. I skipped pbj and had dry cereal and coffee for breakfast. I already told hubby I won't be wanting dinner because of the holiday luncheon. I'll be eating between 12:30 and 1:30pm then nothing much else for the rest of the day aside from a snack like an apple or cheese or microwave popcorn. I'm looking forward to going home and relaxing. It's been a long and busy week.
I am really worried that I have screwed my metabolism again. It's hard to believe because the last time I did it I was eating 500-800 cals a day. For 4 months my weight did not drop even an ounce and I was starving and fatigued. It was awful! No surprise it shut down on those cals. Over the last year or so I have had some very low cal days but once I lost my willpower the majority seems to have been about 1000-1200. It's only more recently that I've had more really low days so I find it hard to believe I've done enough damage to shut down my metabolism. My weight simply does not want to budge. Usually when I put my mind to it I at least see some progress but this time around I'm stuck.

Ugh, I have yet to be able to maintain the restriction long enough for a total metabolism shutdown, but maybe a day or two of binging (or eating like an American fat-ass) will help? I end up doing that about once every week or two, and haven't had a huge plateau yet. Good luck with the luncheon.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I really like the 1000-1200 mentality, haha, I do it too. I think at some point we all hit plateaus, but the trick is to not be discouraged by it.
ReplyDeleteHang in there!!
By the way, your posts are really funny to read.
Bring on the sarcasm! :)
That sucks about your condo! Have you considered putting back on the market? You could do so while you have a new renter.
ReplyDeletecan't sell. i wish. but if I did i'd owe the bank and have nothing because i owe more then it's worth.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll find another tenant soon.
ReplyDeleteAnd I relate to the metabolism fears... I think I've done that to myself as well.
