Lemon Cooler Cake

I was 119.5 yesterday but not today.  Basically this is how it goes.  If the hubby isn't home then it's pretty much a snack dinner and if either of us cooks I try to let him eat most of it.  If he is occupied with left overs he can eat that means less cooking for me (us) AND he's taken care of.  I feel bad when he doesn't have anything for dinner even though he is the way better cook then I am .  If he's got food I can be left alone to eat a sandwich or say I did.  He made this really delicious Chicken Parmesan concoction on Wednesday night with pasta on the side.  Everything he makes tastes so good.  I just had one piece but it was a good size and let's just say I went a little past the edge of hunger.  Not full but satisfied.  He also went out and bought a Lemon Cooler cake for dessert which I love and pretty much can't resist along with some reduced fat ice cream.  I devoured that while watching Top Model.  The girls that make me feel fat just looking at them.  Oh the irony of me stuffing my face while one of the girls gets eliminated for being too skinny.  She really was.  Most of those girls look naturally thin and though it can appear skeletal it didn't appear to be unhealthy like it did on Annamarie.  Perhaps there was a point where she still looked "naturally thin" but she obviously took it way too far.  There was just nothing too her and she looked veiny.  I know that she probably strutted onto the show thinking that because she was as thin as it gets she had it in the bag.  She was sadly mistaken.  They want you to be skinny but heaven forbid you develop an ED to get there. She didn't admit to having one.  Just that she is on a "calorie restricted diet" and you could tell she was quite proud to say that she weighs about 110.  She was way too cocky.  All she could say is "I'm the best."  She sort of got what she deserves.

Yesterday I came home and tried to redeem myself with a 30 minute toning video and 10 minutes of jump roping.  It worked.  I am down a pound.  I did NOT want to exercise but I had no excuse.  I was up in weight and I had gotten home early because I had a doctor appointment.  Not to would have just been super lazy which I very well can be-but not yesterday.  Hubby was out bike riding so I did the snack dinner thing and claimed I had a sandwich and I'm going to let him eat up the rest of that delicious chicken he made.  I kind of like the snack dinner concept because I get something I crave.  It may not always be the lowest in calories when you add them together BUT it is not heavy.  It doesn't sit in my stomach and make me feel full and fat.  I am usually still hungry after because it's not very filling but it's easier to cope with because I indulged in something I really wanted and satisfied a craving. It's a lot easier to be hungry when you got to have Lemon Cooler cake and don't feel so deprived.

It's finally Friday.  I am wearing a pair of black skinny jeans that make me feel skinny.  I got a little nervous at first because I don't remember them fitting this well.  They have a snug fit-the way skinny jeans are supposed to.  Did I gain weight?  Well, techically I have because I was maintaining around 116 the last time I wore them but none of my other clothes fit differently so they probably did fit this well and I just don't rememeber.  They are practically brand new.  I only wore them a few times and that was when it was still winter weather.

No real plans for the weekend.  I need to clean house and I think we are going to see a movie.  I put my pics up into another silly online modeling contest.  Chances are slim to none but that's what I said the last time when I finished in the top 5 and won lots of free clothes.  I enter then I forget about it.  Winning would just be an unlikely bonus that I didn't plan on.

  1. Anamarie was actually one of my favorites... She was a little too thin, but she's beautiful... Sad.
And I KNOW how you feel about the hiding eating meals together... We sit on the floor at the coffeetable in our house, and I let my dog crawl up to me and give her bites when the hubby's not looking. Like a little kid trying not to eat their vegetables, only that's all I eat!
