Still Trying

When I got home from work yesterday I was 117.5. Not bad at all. For lunch I ate two pieces of pizza and a bread stick that was left over from a meeting. As I ate it I knew that meant no dinner and that I would probably be hungry that night especially considering I was still hungry even after I ate it.

So hubby and I watched a movie. We shared some popcorn and I had a piece of string cheese. I was still 117.5 so I was feeling good about that until I woke up this morning at 118. OK....whatever. Even after my Metamucil the other day I still didn't go #2 until this morning and barely at that which dropped me back down to 117.5.

I had a job interview yesterday. Just for a promotion within my district but at a different location. I don't really care too much if I get it because I am fine where I am. I only did it because it will be a bit more money and I could definitely use more of that. I don't think I did too well. I hate interviews here. It's a panel and each one asks you a question that you have a chance to review before going in. I just felt like I was babbling and babbling and not really saying much of anything.

I am so tired this morning. I don' t know how I am going to make it through the work day when I feel like this already. I am meeting hubby for lunch so hopefully that will help break up the day. Only bad thing is it's an early lunch for me which could also make the day feel longer.

My friend wanted to go to happy hour tonight and the first thing that crossed my mind was, "Oh great, this could blow my diet." But turns out we are not going and I have to say I am kind of glad. I was looking forward to seeing my friend but not the calories I would invevitably consume.

I feel like my jeans are fitting me a bit tighter this morning. It could be all in my head but I have gained weight. Hope my wedding dress still fits.

At least it's Friday.

  1. It's not easy at all to maintain your weight. Whenever I get down to a good number, I inevitably do something to F--- it up. Friends, family and social events can be saboteurs...

Keep trying. You're 117.5!!! That is awesome.

  2. I know this sudden feeling of:
I would like to meet with you, but you are making me eat or drink and that´s why I cannot come together with you.
That´s the worst, those are the seconds making us socially inadequate, isolated and lonesome. At least they make me.
I try to work on that, I try to go out and do not eat, I managed that once, and I was proud of myself...
you should not stay at home just because of the cals. I should not do this.
    But I know these thoughts....
don´t worry about the wedding dress, you will look absolutely beautiful, it will fit perfectly, I simply know it!
