Up And Down

The last week has been so busy and exhausting with house hunting and wedding stuff. I've been kinda maintaining my weight and not stressing too much over it lately. It's pretty much fluctuated between 115 and 116 over the past week. My fear of not being able to loose it back has gone down which is why I am feeling less stressed.

On Sunday we went over to a friend's house to watch the game and I kinda over did it. Mostly mindless munching. Not so bad except that the night before I went to Olive Garden with my mom late-around 8pm after we bought my wedding dress. Two bowls of soup, 2 1/2 bread sticks, and some salad oh my. But oh so good.

Last night hubby bought home a pizza from Dominoes. I saw their commercials about their new and improved delicious crust and boy were they right. It is soooooo good. I was able to limit myself to two slices even though my stomach was still growling for more even as I was eating them.

I just ate a donut that was left over from a work meeting. Eh, I think it'll be OK. I am going to skip my cheese its to compensate just a little at least. I am on my second cup of coffee and not hungry at all anyhow. If I do I will eat my yogurt.

My wedding dress is so pretty. It was so fun trying them on with my mom and two of my friends watching. When you plan a wedding you really do get to be the center of attention on so many things and it can be fun. The lady who helped us was saying that bodies change and it's best to go bigger just in case because it can always be altered down. My friends laughed. They were like, "you don't know this girl. She does not gain weight!!" I got it in a size 4 and will have to have it taken in a little at the waist. It's strapless so I have to make sure that I don't feel like it's going to come down. It cost me $450!! I put it on layaway.

We have also started to house hunt. I put together an anticipated budget for me and hubby to get a clearer idea of what our finances will look like with what will likely be about a 2k mortgage. I started feeling a little down because if I made decent money we would be so much better off. I don't know how long this is going to take us and I am scared about the money part of it but I am SO READY TO MOVE. The clutter in my tiny place is driving me nuts. I am starting to not even care because it feels so hopeless. There is just no where to put anything. I come home and what few table surfaces there are is covered with mail and papers. Every corner is filled with stuff. I need space and I need it soon!!

  1. Good luck on house hunting!

We were doing it some time ago and in the end decided to stay where we are, but in your case... I hate it when everything is stuffed into corners and on tables...

I will go buy a wedding dress soon, but I am not really looking forward to that.... Mabe because I don´t like being watched trying on clothes...

good job on maintaining, by the way. If you put a pizza in front of my face there is no way I can restrict...
    Well done!
