10 Day Exercise Hiatus

My total rest week ended up being 10 days of no exercise.  I took the entire weekend off too because my husband finally got a leave date for Sunday.  I had to be in LA on Sunday which was shitty because I didn't get to take him to the airport and I lost a few precious hours with him.  It was a family thing.  The plans had been made and my mom had already purchased the ticket for my cousins dance showcase so I went as planned.  Saying good-bye to him at home was actually harder than at the airport, because I had more time to hug and cry and not want to say good-bye.  Being gone all day was a great distraction until I got home and bawled my eyes out because he wasn't there.  I cried because he left me Kohl's cash, did the dishes, changed the air fresheners and finished the laundry. Then, I saw the sweet note he left me and I started crying even harder.  I am going to miss him like CRAZY, but after the threat of it being one whole year him being back in December is not so bad at all and finally the stress of him getting leave dates that get cancelled and the back and forth since January is done.  It had to happen.  He's gone, and now I can count the days until he gets back.  It's going to be odd to come home and have him not be there for a while, but we've gone through it before and we will get through it again.

It's perfect that the 1st of the month falls on Monday and it's my first day back after a 10 day exercise hiatus.  I bought the Alexa Jean Fitness bundle.  It is a reasonable price (unlike BBG) and comes with 3 extra body part focused 30 day challenges but I'm going to start with the 12-week healthy body guide.  I'm happy to say that I gained 0 weight during my exercise break.  I was really worried about having to exercise almost daily to maintain my weight since that's how I lost it, but 10 days later, with two trips, and dining out I am holding at 133.6.  I still can't believe it.  The first test was eating off macros and/or under eating, the second test was travel eating, and the third test was no exercise.  My metabolism is healed!! The break was so needed.  It was so nice to come home and sit on my butt, not rush around every night, and not having to wash my hair every day.  I see no physical change in my body, but we'll see about strength once I start again.
