Water Load

I had to drink 32 oz of water within an hour for an ultrasound.  I was dreading it because I have a huge fear of drinking mass amounts of liquids and gaining weight.  I have a hard enough time with my weight without excess liquids.  I weighed before and after.  I started out at 117.9 and ended at 119.9!!  I gained two pounds!!  I know everyone says it's just water weight, it's not real, and that liquids push liquids.  The more you drink the more it flushes out your system.  Well, that may be true but I'm still freaking out because even after a 450 calorie workout at the gym I'm up a pound from this morning and I don't like it on bit!  I did meet hubby for lunch after the appointment but still, I feel that I'm higher then I should be right now.  I ate chicken noodle soup and 3 spring rolls.  I am definitely not eating dinner.  I will probably do some munching on various things and that's it.  My work out was great!  I did a lot of stretching after wards because I'm trying to get my flexibility back.  The stretching machine really stretched out my legs so that I was able to do my splits easier then I have in a long time.  I'll be going back tomorrow.  It's so nice being off and having time to go.

I am really loving the lose it app.  It makes tracking calories and exercise so much easier.  It's always at my fingertips.  Anywhere I am I can look foods up and add them in.  I can see the running tally and know exactly where I stand without guess work.  It adds everything up for me and I can even go online and use it too.  I also downloaded a couple other calorie database apps.  One of hubby's co workers wants me to be her friend on lose it and there is no way I can.  It doesn't show friends your actual weight but it shows calorie budget and weight lost.  She'd be shocked to see my 849 food budget.  All that stuff is just too personal for me.  My weight has been at a stand still.  I've been glad not to gain but bummed out about how slow it's going.  Hopefully my water load didn't screw me up.   So far my cals for the day are 565.

Not really sure what to think of these pics.  Not sure what to think of my body.  I take pics and analyze and scrutinize every angle and still end up confused.

  1. Waterloading only makes you gain temporarily. If that was store bought soup or broth, expect the sodium to interfere with water retention. Don’t be surprised if you wake up three pounds less.

Miraculously, you've figured out how to have an ass both toned and nonexistent. You look tremendous.

I'm beginning to wonder if what you weigh is actually PURE muscles weight because you are so tall.
Don't worry about the water weight, give it a few days and you'll see it actually benefits you.
Think of it as a cleaning of your body - just like we clean our apt *every once in a while, haha*

    BEST OF LUCK!! :D
